Initial challenge, opportunity for Vietnam later

As the first time that Madison Media Group collaborates with a Korean company to invest and produce a reality show, there are few challenges, of course. However, beside difficulties, the more they join in the cooperation process, the more they realize that these challenges can turn to be opportunities for both parties. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, representative of Madison Media Group (MMG) shared: “This is the first collaboration model of investment and production so it’s difficult for us to find out the same model to use and learn. Mostly, MMG is doing 2 things at the same time: learning and doing. However, this is also a chance for us to learn from the experienced and professional SBS team, who had done a great job with original Running man.”

The expectation from SBS Korea

In the return, SBS also had many positive opinions in the process of cooperation. Last January, the first episode had started filming in HCM city. Although it was the first co-operation, both Korean staff and Vietnamese staff had worked closely to create a lot of beautiful scenes as well as amazing games. SBS said: “SBS, a representative broadcasting company in Korea, is putting the best production personnel and know-how for the success of Running Man. I expect that the localized Running Man will be loved by Vietnamese viewers. SBS will be a leader in contributing to the Vietnamese broadcasting industry with the launch of this Running Man. We hope to achieve the great goal of promoting friendship and economic development between Vietnam and Korea.”
